Hulhumale Development Corporation (HDC) has said the construction of bus stops in Hulhumale' Phase II is nearing completion.
According to HDC, the project progress is currently at 92 percent. The remaining works of the project include electrical, drainage and finishing works, said HDC. The corporation said the bus stops are expected to be functional by mid-September.
As per HDC, the new bus stops in Hulhumale' Phase II will be an extension of the existing public transport system.
A large area of the Phase II of the reclaimed suburbs is now open to the public. While families have started moving into social housing flats under the Hiyaa scheme, HDC is working to establish basic facilities in Phase II.
