Land for light industrial purposes is now available for sale from Hulhumale' Phase II through a tender process.
A total of 16 plots, ranging from 1,515 to 1,538 square feet, have been opened for bidding by the Housing Development Corporation (HDC). Eligibility is restricted to Maldivian citizens over the age of 18, and local companies with 100-percent Maldivian ownership.
The land sale will be conducted in two phases. The first stage is the submission of an Expression of Interest (EOI), while the second stage will involve bidding if more than one party has submitted an EOI for the land to be purchased.
The starting bid price for the land is set at MVR 5,500 per sqft. Each party can purchase a total of three plots. The bidding process will be conducted online via HDC's dedicated bid portal. Detailed information on available plots can be accessed from the portal.
