The Judicial Service Commission (JSC) has said a disciplinary investigation has been launched into Chief Magistrate of Dhaalu Judicial Constituency, Ahmed Amir.
JSC said Amir has been accused of giving false information to a government authority. The commission made the decision to investigate the judge during its 74th sitting held Wednesday. A committee has been formed to look in to the matter, JSC said.
