The Criminal Court has ordered the release of an additional suspect arrested earlier this month in a drug bust.
The police apprehended ten suspects on October 13th in a drug operation, out of which the two main suspects were earlier released by the Criminal Court during a remand hearing. The court ordered the release of a third suspect, Midhuhath Ibrahim, 26, on Tueaday.
The police requested the Prosecutor General's Office to appeal the release of the two main suspects, who the police say are heavily involved in smuggling in drugs. However, the Prosecutor General's Office did not pursue appealing the decision despite the request.
Out of the ten suspects initially arrested, seven remain in custody. They are:

MD Rafiqul Islam, 35
DM Mobin, 24
Over 100 kg of drugs were found hidden in an uninhabited island, ADh. Bodukaashihuraa during the drug operation.
