Two employees of Island Aviation Services (IAS) were injured in a snatching incident on Wednesday.
The company said the two employees who were hurt worked at Fuvahmulah Airport. They were attacked on Tuesday night as they left office, carrying cash from the day's sales. A total of MVR 93,850 and USD 448 were snatched.
The two injured were taken to the hospital, where they were treated for their injuries. The police are investigating the case, although they have made no statements regarding the incident. No arrests have been made in connection to the incident.
