Island Aviation Services Limited (IAS)'s former Managing Director Mohamed Mihad has been appointed Chairman of the company.
Mohamed Mihad took on the role of Managing Director at IAS in March 2021, serving under President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih's administration until the conclusion of the president's term. Prior to that, he had served as the Board Director of Maldives Airports Company Limited (MACL) and the Managing Director of Maldives Tourism Development Corporation (MTDC).
Mihad holds a Master of Business Administration from Edith Cowan University, Australia, and a Diploma in Accounting and Business Studies from BMC Commercial Training Centre, Singapore.
Island Aviation's new Managing Director is Ibrahim Iyaas.
