Arabiyya School to be relocated to Old Jamaluddin plot

President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih on Monday met with members of the Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) of Al Madhrasathul Arabiyyathul Islamiyya, where he assured them that the administration would find a permanent solution to their concerns. Discussions at the meeting, held at the President’s Office, focussed on concerns over the current state of the Arabiyya School building.

At the meeting, members of the PTA expressed their concerns over temporary solutions proposed by the Ministry of Education. They further discussed with the President the challenges facing the students and suggested ways to address the issues.

At the meeting, President Solih informed the members of the PTA of the administration’s decision to develop a new building for the school on the land plot of the old Jamaluddin School. He further said he would confer with the ministry and relevant authorities to explore avenues to resolve the concerns raised at the meeting.
