A Maldivian student in Egypt has passed away.
The Foreign Ministry said the 19-year-old male student passed away late Sunday. He died due to natural causes.
The ministry said it is in contact with the student's family and providing assistance. The Maldives Embassy in Abu Dhabi is communicating with other students in Egypt.
