The operation of the ice plant established in K. Ga#afaru has been handed over to MIFCO.
Gaafaru Council said the ice plant was handed over to MIFCO last Wednesday. The services of the ice plant are now available, the company said.
The Gaafaru iceplant was opened on December 10 during the celebrations held to mark Fishermen's Day. The 25-tonne plant was opened by President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih.
