The Health Protection Agency (HPA)'s monitoring mechanisms have been activated in four additional islands.
As of Monday night, 27 islands were under HPA monitoring due to the identification of COVID-19 cases. Four islands were added to the list on Monday - GDh. Madaveli, ADh. Mahibadhoo, Dh. Kudahuvadhoo, and Dh. Hulhudheli.
HPA's official statistics show that with the exception of the Greater Male' Region, the most active cases are in K. Guraidhoo, HDh. Kulhudhuffushi, S. Hulhumeedhoo, S. Feydhoo, S. Hithadhoo, and Gn. Fuvahmulah.
At this time, 121 cases are active in K. Guraidhoo. While 181 cases are active in Kulhudhuffushi, 166 cases are active in Hulhumeedhoo. Feydhoo island has 156 active cases, and Hithadhoo has 275 active cases. An additional 203 cases are active in Fuvahmulah.
Out of the 15,721 cases active at this time, 3,050 cases are active in the atolls.
