Maldives National University (MNU) will be surveying to identify why youth turn to crime.
The survey will be conducted jointly with the Youth Ministry. MNU is currently seeking enumerators to carry out the survey. The eligibility criteria for enumerators are being 18 years old and having completed O'levels. Those interested in the positions may apply to MNU before noon on February 15. Special training will be given to those selected.
The purpose of the survey is to identify why youth turn to crime and other issues faced by the youth. It will be conducted in Male', Villimale', and Hulhumale' among selected participants. MNU has not provided information on when the survey will begin and how long it will be conducted.
