Police have recovered the laptops stolen from the Maldives Islamic University (IUM) last week and arrested eight suspects over the robbery.
Police said during an operation following the robbery from the fourth floor of the university, the stolen laptops and electronic equipment had been recovered.
Police said five foreign expatriate workers were among the suspects arrested in connection to the robbery.
The three local suspects have been remanded for 10 days while the expats would be handed over to the immigration department, police added.
