Indira Gandhi Memorial Hospital (IGMH) will open its new intake for medical students to do Medical Internship program at the hospital effective from 17th March 2021.
IGMH said students who wish to do Medical Internship at IGMH can submit application forms from 13th February 2021 until 10th 2021. Applications will be accepted between 9:00 am and 1:00 pm on all working days. However, email submissions will not be accepted.
The number of slots allocated for the new intake is 25. No salary will be given to those chosen for the internship program.
The eligibility requirement for the program is having an MBBS Completion Certificate from a medical college or university and the Certificate of Provisional Medical Registration from Maldives Medical and Dental Council. Applicants must not have a police record in the past five years.
If more than 25 applicants express interest in the program, the date on which MBBS was completed will be taken into account, and priority will be given to those who completed MBBS first, IGMH said.
