Pres Solih departs to Singapore to seek medical treatment

President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih has departed to Singapore to seek medical treatment.

The President on Wednesday announced via a tweet that he was leaving to Singapore to seek treatment for thyroid illness. He said he would return to work as soon as the treatment was completed.

On February 10, the President and First Lady Fazna Ahmed visited Singapore on an unofficial visit and returned five days later on February 15. They traveled to Sri Lanka for the New Year holiday.
