The Maldives on Saturday recorded two new COVID-19 deaths.
According to the Health Protection Agency (HPA), the first death was recorded in Sh. Atoll COVID Facility, where a 79-year-old local female succumbed to the virus at 3:22 pm. The second death was recorded at the same center at 4:55 pm when a 78-year-old local male' passed away.
The Maldives' COVID-19 toll is now 296.
