State Trading Organization (STO) has raised the price of petrol and diesel for the third time in a month.
STO said while the price of petrol and diesel had been rising exponentially this year, the Russia-Ukrain war has pushed oil prices to new highs. Therefore, Fuel Supply Maldives outlets will be selling petrol for MVR 14.60 per liter and diesel for MVR 14.80, STO said.
The current price of a barrel of crude oil is USD 115 in the international market.
