The National Awards Committee on Thursday announced that they have opened for nominations of the National Awards 2022. The announcement was published on the Government Gazette.
This year’s National Award would be presented in 34 categories. Necessary amendments had been brought to the categories and procedures after thorough discussion by the Nationals Awards Committee.
Similar to previous years, government offices, independent institutions, companies, associations, and individuals could propose nominees for the awards by submitting the designated nomination forms.
Nomination forms are available from the President’s Office's reception during official hours and can also be downloaded from the President’s Office's website. Completed forms are to be submitted to the President's Office through the reception, e-mail or the designated portal, and would be accepted from April 2, 2022 until May 31, 2022 during office hours on weekdays. The final deadline for submitting nominations is 1400hours on Tuesday, 31st May 2022.
The National Awards committee directed all applicants to ensure that they submit all necessary documents along with the completed nomination forms. The Committee would publicise further information regarding the National Awards through local media and social media platforms.
