A boat traveling with 130 passengers has run aground on Lh. Felivaru reef.
Maldives Police Service said they received reports of a vessel named 'Furaagu 2' marooning on a reef around 8:30 pm on Friday. The police said the boat was traveling from Sh. Foakaidhoo to Male' with 130 passengers aboard, including women and children, when it grounded on the 'Gaaerifaru' reef.
MNDF is now active at the scene.
