The national bank, Bank of Maldives (BML), has opened applications for proposals under its Community Fund for the third phase of
the year.
The bank said a total of 10 projects would be selected to receive MVR 50,000 to implement projects in the areas of education, environment, sports, and community development. The Community Fund is open only for registered NGOs.
NGOs can send proposals with supporting documents to BML before 11:59 pm of October 17.
The Community Fund is a program to empower NGOs to contribute to their communities through sustainable projects. As of today, the bank has provided financial assistance for 70 projects across the country through this fund.
