The second round of the COVID-19 assistance program for self-employed individuals has opened.
The program is being implemented under the "COVID-19 Emergency Income Support Project" jointly by the Ministry of Economic Affairs and the World Bank. While the first round of the program has now ended, application for the second round was opened by the Economic Ministry on Wednesday.
The Economic Ministry said the application forms submitted in the first round of the program are currently being considered. Therefore, they will not have to reapply in the second round. However, those who did not submit their applications by the deadline of the first round have the opportunity to submit their applications in the second round.
A total of 500 opportunities have been opened under the programme.
Applications can be submitted online through the Economic Ministry's Job Center portal.

Beauty and makeup
Photography and Videography
Sewing and textiles work
Information Communication Technology
Creative Arts and Music
Sports and fitness
Applicants must have been earning their own income for at least six months by July 1 this year, and must not have been in paid employment for up to four weeks until the date of application. If employed, applicants must not have worked more than 20 hours per week.
The deadline for applications is November 30.
