HDC approves construction of 8-storey buildings in industrial zone

The Housing Development Corporation (HDC) has approved the construction of eight-story buildings in Hulhumale' 's industrial area.

The Industrial Zone in Hulhumale' is a special area designated for the establishment of various additional facilities due to the growing population and businesses in Hulhumale'. Although buildings could be built up to six stories in the area until now, HDC has now decided to allow eight-story buildings in the area.

The HDC said one of the primary purposes of the change is to address the increased demand for the industrial area and to provide more profitable opportunities for businesses operating in Hulhumale'.

The change will increase the floor space allocated for industrial use in Hulhumale' and provide opportunities for service providers to expand their businesses in the buildings in the industrial area. The HDC said the corporation focuses on finding quick solutions to the residents' requests.
