The Maldives National Party (MNP) has opened applications for those who wish to contest the party's presidential primary.
The opportunity to apply to contest in MNP's presidential primary is open until December 14.
Thus far, only MNP's President and Dhangethi MP Mohamed Nazim has announced his intention to contest the party's presidential primary.
The most recently registered political party in the Maldives, the MNP is working hard to increase the number of its members and expand the party throughout the country. The party already boasts a membership of over 10,000 members. Earlier last month, MNP officially declared itself an opposition party.
