China State Construction Engineering Corporation Limited Maldives Branch (CSCEC Maldives) has officially released its "Witness Happiness: CSCEC Maldives Sustainability Report".
CSCEC Maldives Sustainability Report is the first sustainability report released by CSCEC Maldives to the public and the first sustainability report released by a Chinese company in Maldives. Compiled in Chinese and English, the report mainly consists of four chapters: Market Performance, Social Performance, Environmental Performance, and Responsibility Performance.
The report closely follows the theme of "Witness Happiness" and summarizes typical cases and practical results of CSCEC Maldives in serving Maldives' national development strategies, strengthening people's livelihood, promoting green development, contributing to cultural integration, and promoting social public welfare undertakings. It demonstrated to the public that CSCEC Maldives actively implements the corporate mission of "Expanding a Happy Living Environment" and actively undertakes social responsibility.
The chapter "Market Performance" introduces how CSCEC Maldives provide strong guarantees for quality control and effectively performs the contracts, while the chapter on "Social Performance" introduces the projects undertaken by CSCEC Maldives and the positive role they play in Maldives. The third chapter, "Environmental Performance," introduces how CSCEC Maldives builds environment-friendly construction methods and operating models. The final chapter on "responsibility performance" focuses on the company's human resource management, employee health and safety production, community investment, and public welfare undertakings. The social responsibility undertaken by CSCEC Maldives is also highlighted in the report.
