President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih has traveled to Th. Hirilandhoo to attend a special ceremony to celebrate the 71st anniversary of Hirilandhoo School.
The President received a warm welcome from the people of Hirilandhoo upon his arrival at the island. The island's people performed a special song, in which they expressed their happiness at the government's efforts in developing Hirilandhoo.
The President inaugurated the new office building constructed by the FENAKA Corporation during his visit. The President also inaugurated the volleyball court built on the island by the government. He is also scheduled to meet with relevant authorities in Hirilandhoo.
One of the biggest projects being carried out by the government in Hirilandhoo is the island's land reclamation project.
