The Criminal Court's operation has been temporarily handed over to Judge Adam Mohamed.
The Judicial Service Commission (JSC) made the change following the swearing-in of former Criminal Court Chief Justice Ahmed Shakeel as a High Court judge on Monday.
The commission also temporarily handed over the operation of the GA. Judiciary sector to Magistrate Azeem Hassan. The change was brought as the GA. Judicial sector's Chief Magistrate, Ibrahim Ihsan, was sworn in as Criminal Court Judge on Monday.
