Major Hussain Rasheed has been appointed as the Information Officer of the Maldives National Defense Force (MNDF). He was appointed to the post on Sunday.
The Information Officer is tasked with officially providing information about MNDF to the media.
An MNDF officer is prohibited from giving information to any media regarding MNDF in his personal capacity. Such information may be shared only by the designated MNDF Information Officer or by a person authorized by the Integrated Headquarters.
Major Hussain Rasheed has been appointed as the Information Officer of the MNDF following former Information Officer Captain Hana Mohamed traveling abroad to undertake a course.
