Trans Maldivian Airways (TMA) has brought in a new aircraft to further expand its fleet.
The newly delivered aircraft is a DHC-6 Twin Otter. TMA already has several aircraft of the type in its expansive fleet. With the new addition, TMA now has 62 aircraft in its fleet.
TMA has brought in a new aircraft to facilitate service delivery as new resorts have opened in the Maldives, and the number of tourists is increasing year by year.
TMA launched its services in the Maldives in 1993. Now the world's largest seaplane operator, the airline flies to more than 80 resorts in the Maldives.
