Special Advisor to the President, Mohamed Shihab, has resigned from the post.
A President's Office official said the office received Shihab's resignation letter on Sunday. The official did not give the reason for Shihab's resignation.
Shihab was appointed as an advisor to the President on October 15, 2019. He has previously served as the Parliament Speaker, the Home Minister, and the Mayor of Male City.
