The PPM-PNC coalition has expanded its presidential candidate, former President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Qayyoom's campaign to the atolls.
Yameen's campaign commenced on July 3 in Male' City, where a door-to-door initiative was launched. Abdul Raheem Abdulla, who is currently leading the main opposition coalition, announced on Thursday that the campaign had now been extended to the atolls.
"The campaign office has informed us that the first event for the door-to-door campaign in the atolls has begun today," he stated.
The atolls campaign is currently focusing on Haa Alif, Haa Dhaalu, and Shaviyani atolls.
