Man arrested for threatening Deputy Speaker using son's photo

A man has been arrested for allegedly using a photograph of Deputy Parliament Speaker Eva Abdullah's son on the social media platform Twitter to issue threats directed at her.

Police confirmed that a man was arrested under a court order at 10:34 pm on Tuesday night in connection with a case filed by Eva. However, authorities did not disclose any information about the arrested man.

According to sources, the individual utilized a fake account to convey threats to Eva using her son's photo. In response to the tweet, Eva tagged Commissioner of Police Mohamed Hameed in a tweet, urging an investigation into the situation.
