Former Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) President Mariyam Shiuna has been appointed as the Chief Operating Officer of the Maldives Pension Administration Office (MPAO).
Shiuna's resignation from her post as ACC President came amidst a backlog of pending cases, and as a no-confidence motion against her was looming in parliament.
Before her tenure at the ACC, Shiuna held prominent positions at Transparency Maldives, the national chapter of Transparency International, including her role as Executive Director.
