285,631 ballot papers printed for presidential runoff

A total of 285,631 ballot papers have been printed for the second round of the presidential election.

The Elections Commission (E) said the ballot papers for the upcoming runoff were printed by Novelty Printers and Publishers Pvt Ltd, the same company responsible for printing the first round's ballots.

In the initial round of the presidential election, a total of 282,395 individuals were eligible to cast their votes. However, for the upcoming round, a total of 282,803 people are eligible to participate, including 408 newly eligible voters who will have turned 18 before the election date.

A total of 586 ballot boxes will be set up for the runoff slated for September 30, Saturday. This is an increase of 12 boxes compared to the first round.
