Presidential election: 65,600 votes cast by 10:00 am

The Elections Commission (EC) has said 65,600 people have cast their ballots in the second round of the presidential election as of 10:00 am today.

A total of 282,804 people are eligible to vote in the second round of the presidential election, including 38,309 males and 27,291 females. A total of 586 polling stations have been set up for the election.

Voting for the election started at 8:00 am today, and will conclude at 5:00 pm. Vote counting is expected to begin half an hour after polls close.
