The Parliament Secretariat has announced its decision to send out 3,500 invitations for the upcoming swearing-in ceremony of President-elect Dr. Mohamed Muizzu and Vice President-elect Hussain Mohamed Latheef.
The swearing-in ceremony is scheduled to be held on November 17 at the Republic Square. The location was decided in accordance with Dr. Muizzu's preference.
During a consultation meeting with members of the Office of the President-elect and the Parliament on the swearing-in ceremony, the Parliament Secretariat outlined its plan to issue 3,500 invitations for the ceremony. These include invitations to top officials of four countries and the current ambassadors serving in the Maldives.
The President-elect's Office, the Parliament, and MNDF are collaborating in making arrangements for the swearing-in ceremony.
