Finance Ministry seeks consultant to enhance state-owned company operations

The Finance Ministry is seeking to hire a consultant to strengthen the operations of state-owned companies and improve the companies.

The ministry Wednesday announced that it is seeking consultants on the strengthening and development of government companies, with the opportunity open for both locals and foreigners.

According to the announcement, the chosen consultant will be the candidate with the lowest bid among those scoring over 80 percent in the technical evaluation. Interested individuals must submit their TORs by December 11, and relevant information must be clarified before December 5.

There are 32 government-owned companies, most relying on state budget funding.

The government has announced the recruitment of a consultant to improve the situation of government-owned companies while new Managing directors have been appointed to several companies following President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu's assumption of office on November 17.
