President Dr Mohamed Muizzu, upon the Cabinet's recommendation, has decided to establish an air ambulance service. This decision followed discussions on a paper submitted by the Health Ministry during Sunday's Cabinet meeting.
The meeting's deliberations followed the decision to establish an air ambulance service in March 2024 in partnership with Maldivian Airlines, with the Emergency Ambulance Service Department of the Health Ministry carrying out the project.
The establishment of the Air Ambulance Service is an integral part of the Administration's 'Hafutha 14' strategic roadmap.
