Mohamed Qasim, the father of Meedhoo MP and President of Maldives Development Alliance (MDA), Ahmed Siyam, has passed away at the age of 81.
According to reports, Qasim, from N. Kudafari, Kaamineege, was admitted to ADK Hospital two days ago. He passed away early this morning while receiving treatment.
Qasim had nine children, the eldest of whom is MP Siyam. He played a significant role in N. Kufafari's community, having served as the island chief of Kudafari and contributed to the local school.
