President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu and his family have moved to the presidential residence, Muliaage.
The first family moved to Muliaage on Monday, almost three months since taking office in November 2023. Prior to this move, the first family resided at President Dr. Muizzu's private residence, M. Dhimyaath.
The Muliaage was built 104 years ago during the reign of Sultan Mohamed Shamsuddin. Muliaage underwent extensive renovations before accommodating the first family. Despite this, the government assures that the historical essence of the building remains unchanged.
