The Maldives Trade Association (MTA) has been inaugurated.
MTA is an association advocating for the rights of businessmen. The association was inaugurated at a ceremony held at the Beehive Hotel in Male' City on Saturday.
Speaking at the ceremony, Maduvvary MP Ahmed Ameeth, a key figure in the formation of the association, emphasized MTA's commitment to supporting small and medium enterprises (SMEs). He highlighted the association's mission to advocate for the interests of businessmen.
The MTA said the association will work to foster closer ties between the government and businessmen. In addition, the MTA will work to facilitate opportunities for businessmen both in the Maldives and abroad.
