Foundation stone laid for new Auditor General's Office building

The foundation stone of the new Auditor General's Office building has been laid.

The foundation stone of the building was laid by Vice President Hussain Mohamed Latheef at a ceremony held at Hulhumale' Phase I on Sunday evening. The ceremony was attended by Construction Minister Dr. Abdullah Muthalib, Auditor General Hussain Niyazi, and MTCC's CEO Abdullah Ziyad.

The construction of the six-story building has been awarded to the Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC). The building includes the space needed to establish a suitable working environment for the employees, a daycare center for the staff, and parking spaces. Additionally, it will house a library, conference hall, and spaces for training sessions and events.
