More than 71,000 tourists have visited the Maldives from China thus far this year.
Statistics show the number of visitors to the Maldives increased by 13.6 percent compared to the same period last year. According to the Tourism Ministry, a total of 650,404 tourists have visited the Maldives so far this year, of which 10.9 percent - 71,136- were Chinese tourists.
