"God willing, an even happier night lies ahead. I will not go into the specifics, but I am pleased to announce that the course of history in Haddhunmathi Atoll will witness a significant shift in the near future," he said.
Abdul Raheem attributed his political success to the unwavering support, confidence, and assistance extended to him by the people of Fonadhoo.
"So I will always, always remember you all, no matter what position I hold. God willing, I will never forget you," he said.
Echoing his father's sentiments, Ibrahim Faisal, Abdul Raheem's son and the current Tourism Minister, expressed certainty in his father securing the role of Parliament Speaker.
