The state has released $113.1 million in compensation thus far this year.
According to the latest Weekly Fiscal Development Report released by the ministry, this is the amount paid by the government as of April 25. The ministry has not disclosed the recipients of the compensation.
A total of MVR 101 million has been allocated for compensation from this year's state budget. Although the same amount was allocated last year too, the total amount disbursed exceeded this amount to reach MVR 557 million.
