A 26-year-old local man involved in a motorcycle accident has passed away.
The police said the accident occurred on May 5 when the man's motorcycle skidded on Nirolhu Magu in Hulhumale. The incident was reported to authorities at 3:26 pm.
The cyclist was initially taken to Hulhumale Hospital for treatment. He was later transferred to ADK, and passed away while undergoing treatment at the hospital at 12:50 pm on the 6th of this month, police said.
When questioned about the delayed disclosure of information regarding a death on May 5, the police declined to provide an answer. They stated that the case remains under investigation.
