President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu and First Lady Sajida Mohamed have arrived in the Maldives after performing Umrah on the gracious hospitality of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, His Majesty King Salman Bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud. The First Couple returned to the Maldives on Wednesday night.
Upon his return, the President was welcomed at Velana International Airport by Vice President Hussain Mohamed Latheef and other senior government officials.
During this visit from May 10 to 15, the President was accompanied by the Minister of Islamic Affairs Dr. Mohamed Shaheem Ali Saeed, Head Imaam of the Islamic Centre Sheikh Mohamed Latheef, Chief of Staff at the President's Office Abdulla Fayaz, Minister at the President’s Office for Presidential Affairs Ali Arif and Minister at the President’s Office Abdulla Nasir.
