Police have arrested five people in a drug operation in Male' City.
Five men, aged between 27 and 45, were arrested in the operation conducted collaboratively by police drug enforcement and intelligence units on May 14. During the search of the suspects' apartment, 29 rubber packets containing suspected drugs were recovered.
The suspects were produced before the Criminal Court to decide on their remand, and all five were ordered to be remanded in custody for 15 days.
Police drug enforcement is investigating the case.
