Hisaan Hussain, President of the Judicial Service Commission (JSC) and the parliamentary representative on the Commission, has met with Chief Justice Ahmed Muthasim Adnan as her term comes to an end. The meeting took place on Sunday.
Appointed to JSC by the 19th Parliament in 2019, the outgoing-Thulhaadhoo MP Hisaan is notable for being the first woman to serve as JSC President. Throughout her tenure, she has been an advocate for judicial reform. Her term at JSC expires today.
