MPS unveils strategic plan for next four years

Maldives Police Service has launched its Strategic Plan.

The plan was inaugurated by Homeland Security Minister Ali Ihsan at a ceremony held at the Iskandhar Barracks in Male' City.

The strategic plan for the next four years includes five main priority areas. They are:

- Eliminating the fear of crime
- Strengthening community relationships
- Upgrading infrastructure and facilities to improve service quality.
- Reforming internal management and strengthening leadership.
- Ensuring transparency and accountability while committing to ethical standards

At the ceremony, the Homeland Security Ministry emphasized that the strategic plan will address existing problems within the police force and enhance the quality of their services.
