Former MP Nihad appointed as State Minister of Tourism

Former Feydhoo MP Mohamed Nihad has been appointed as a State Minister of Tourism.

The exact date of his appointment as the state minister of the ministry remains unclear, and the President’s Office website does not reflect the update. Currently, the website lists two state ministers in the tourism ministry.

Nihad left the opposing Maldivian Democratic Party (MDP) in December last year and joined the ruling Peoples National Congress (PNC).
