An Indian national has been injured in a physical altercation involving weapons between two foreign workers at Hanimaadhoo International Airport.
The incident was reported to the police at around 8:00 pm on Friday night. According to the police, a 39-year-old Indian man was injured and is currently receiving treatment at the Hanimaadhoo Health Centre. A 37-year-old Indian man has been arrested in connection with the incident.
Last week, a similar incident occurred in Male' City, where an altercation between two foreign groups resulted in injuries. Maldives Immigration has decided to deport the perpetrators involved in the Male' City incident.
